Service to the Community  is an integral part of the holistic TBS experience. All community members are encouraged to engage with the 'world', continually learning the value of giving of themselves as active and inspired young people. From primary to high school we engage and encouarge all our students  to seek out opportunities to help others. Our students have helped (and continue to help) the introduction of guide dogs into Turkey to help integrate visually impaired people into society and be more productive, and help children in other regions of the country, who are facing adverse conditions.

 

As part of our high school experience TBS students are encouraged to participate in the International Award Program (Duke of Edinburgh. The iDofE is the world’s leading youth achievement award for 14-24 year old youth. Wonderful social responsibility projects have been completed by our students during their participation.
