Welcome to Tarabya British Schools. We are a globally recognised school, having earned the Patrons Accreditation of the Council of International British Schools (COBIS) in 2021. We are also authorised by Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) to offer its globally respected comprehensive educational programme for 5 — 19-year-olds, encompassing a proven system of qualifications. We are uniquely positioned to offer the best of the British education system: the 'gold standard' Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level programmes in a diverse range of subjects. However, we are not in the business of simply putting students through a 'system' with the sole aim of merely achieving 'grades. We engender student self-development based on the principles of student-centred learning which we believe will allow students to put into practice what they have been taught. We fully embrace the Cambridge learner profile. We are a Turkish-International school where learning is nurtured, young people are engaged with the process of learning, where they become confident in themselves, take responsibility for their behaviour and own learning journeys. TBS incorporates many co-curricular activities, events, and visits into the broader holistic educational offer. These are designed to allow for the practical application and extension of many of the key skills crucial to the development of independent, self-motivated individuals. By blending the curriculum in this way, the focus is on engaging students, to reinforce their classroom learning with experiential learning beyond the boundaries of traditional education. Our internship program in conjunction with many local and international companies, seeks to encourage entrepreneurship and help students focus on planning their journey through life. Our vast range of club activities includes activities as diverse as sailing to learning Korean. We offer business clubs, and a circus of co-curricular activities on our Primary campus.Our Mission
