Acting Club : The acting club aims to provide those with an initial interest in acting an opportunity to learn more about the art. Acting club is also to offer each student a fully comprehensive, nationally competitive education and training in the craft and discipline of acting,. To train and develop the acting skills and to cultivate the creative talent of each astudent so that, upon graduation, he or she is able to create, embody, and play a character from any period of dramatic literature in any performance medium, integrating vocal, physical, textual, and imaginative resources; capable of self-generating new creative material, whether solo or as part of a team or group, in the media of theatre, solo performance, and film, including “virtual” auditioning; fully prepared to undrestand specific demands of the entertainment industry.
Science Club
The purpose of the Science Club is to increase the students interest in science and technology by helping students to acquire basic knowledge of science. The students in the science club are encouraged to participate actively in the extracurricular science activities. Activities include field trips, scientific discussions, presentations on research topics, experiments. Most of the time activities are chosen and prepared by the students themselves. This leads to a positive outcome for all involved. Eventually Science Club helps students to develop awareness of and concern for scientific issues in personal, social, environmental and technological contexts.
